The Day Before Concert Day

I can barely put words to a page today given my excitement, so please excuse me this lacklustre post. The day before a Hanson concert, I’m always a bundle of nerves in anticipation of what will come next. I’m imagining what the set list will be like, if they will play my favourite song, and the randomness that might ensue in between (because Hanson are known for their wit as well as their musical talents). Last night, I was able to distract my mind by attending a play put on in Point Pleasant Park by Shakespeare by the Sea. The actors performed a very funny and entertaining production of ‘The Merry Wives of Windsor.’ Today, however, my only plans are to make preparations for concert day and attempt to get a little extra rest. I think sleep may be out of the question until the concert has passed, however. I can‘t wait to be lifted up and away into the music once more. I look forward to meeting so many fans from here and across the globe. It’s so hard to believe I’m actually writing these words—see you tomorrow Hanson!
